Sabin Lake

Sabin Lake is the ultimate northwoods retreat with pine studded shorelines, scenic lake views and towering canopies of trees. Only the Legends Golf Course sits on the other side of this lake, making the homesites here peaceful and private.

Sabin Lake spans 314 acres with depths of up to 40' and has a rich history dating back to the days of the voyageurs. At the north end of Sabin Lake at the inlet of the Embarrass River sits the Height of Land Portage, recognized on the National Register of Historic Places, the primary voyageurs' portage connection between Rainy and Vermilion Lakes.

Wynne Lake (pronounced "Wine") connects with Sabin Lake to the north and is known for its sugar sand beaches and breathtaking views. While a favorite with visitors to Giants Ridge Golf & Ski Resort, Wynne Lake retains a reputation for being spacious and un-crowded. Water recreation enthusiasts will have plenty of room to play in the waters of this picturesque lake.

Scenic Wynne Lake, a product of the mighty glaciers' handiwork, is 279 acres with depths of up to 52 feet. The Settlements on Wynne Lake feature four lakeside parks with beaches, canoe racks, picnic areas, trails and docks offering access to the lake for all owners. Lake access homesites remain available on Wynne Lake. Lakeshore homesites are sold out.
